Several of our Nine9 talent in and around the Detroit area were requested to be a part of the #IAmBianca campaign. The #IAmBianca campaign stems from the film “Bianca” directed by Randy Holloway and produced by Arete Productions. Based on a true story, “Bianca” is a film telling the story of a woman whose search for love is derailed due to years of physical, mental, and self-inflicted abuse. As a child, Bianca’s mother betrayed her after learning she was molested by members of her own church.
During her teenage years, Bianca’s constant physical altercations with her stepfather eventually left her pregnant and defeated. As an adult, Bianca left home hoping for a better life with her husband, however, the life she ended up with was one she never would have expected.
This televised marketing campaign is to raise awareness for the film “Bianca,” but most importantly for child abuse and issues. The talent that were selected to be a part of the campaign will be holding a sign with “#IAmBianca” printed and will say a line into the camera. This is such a great campaign for the talent to take part in!
3 of our Nine9 Miami talent were booked to shoot a Univision commercial. Univision is an American Spanish language broadcast television network that is owned by Univision Communications. The network’s programming is aimed at Hispanic Americans in the United States; its programming includes telenovelas and other drama series, sports, sitcoms, reality and variety series, news programming, and imported Spanish-language feature films. It has the largest audience of Spanish-language television viewers in the world, according to Nielsen Media Research.
One of our talent was chosen for a lead role and two of our talent were selected as extras. All of the actors will be paid. The commercial will be used for broadcast and internet for 1 year in the US & Puerto Rico. Congrats to all three talent who were booked!
Several of our Nine9 Chicago talent were contacted to audition for CBS’s hit TV show “Big Brother”.
Big Brother will follow a group of strangers living together in a house outfitted with dozens of cameras and microphones recording their every move 24 hours a day, seven days a week. One by one, the HouseGuests will vote each other out of the house until at the end of three months, the last remaining HouseGuest will win the grand prize.
The show is going into it’s 17th season! Casting directors reached out to us and let us know they were traveling the country in search of their next contestants and requested to see our interested talent. The clients were holding auditions in Chicago and we are so excited that so many of our talent had the opportunity to audition for the hit show! Be sure to check it out on CBS!

The casting team was looking for men and women for an upcoming scene for the show between the ages of 21 and 40. The scene they will be a part of is a concert scene with a famous R&B singer from the show performing!
That’s right! One of our Nine9 Chicago talent, Tom Krettler let us know he was chosen to shoot with Chicago Fire. A few weeks ago, Tom K. was contacted for a hospital scene shoot for an upcoming episode of the television series. Chicago Fire is an American television drama series and follows the lives of the firefighters and paramedics working at the Chicago Fire Department at the firehouse of Engine 51, Truck 81, Squad 3, Ambulance 61 and Battalion 25.
Tom shot for four days in Chicago from a two week shoot as an ER doctor. His participation comes after an event in the ER. From his four days on set, he was in and out of the ER set at Cinespace. Tom was on set with all but two of the main actors from the series. This upcoming episode is also to be used to introduce a new spinoff series as a pilot.

The client was looking for actors and actresses of various ages and ethnicities for the upcoming ad. The ad will run for one year with an option for another 2 to 4 years available. All of the roles are paid. Our talent will be auditioning for the ad this week.
Fifteen of Nine9’s Washington D.C. area models have been selected to audition for A Night Of Fashion by Marlo Hampton. The client is auditioning models for Marlo Hampton’s Fashion and Couture Night. Marlo Hampton is known from Bravo’s Real Housewives Of Atlanta and I Dream of NeNe: The Wedding.
This night of fashion is set to benefit SAFEO, Students Athletes For Educational Opportunities. Founded in 1990, this non-profit organization is based in DC and supports student athletes at all levels. SAFEO works to prepare student athletes for the rigors of college level work and the challenges of the college experience. It also works to enhance their athletic skills; introduce them to the many available career opportunities in sports; and inform and train them in healthy living. SAFEO works to build character and a consciousness for community responsibility. The organization is is noted for a host of community–based programs including the Mayor’s Summer Youth Program, the “Vernon Davis Youth and Families Health and Fitness Summer Jam, the Crystal Langhorne GET WISE Girls summer basketball camp, Student Athletes Against Drugs (SAADD), the I Promise Concussion Awareness Campaign and the Montgomery County Volunteer Center SSL provider among others.
Over two hundred of our Nine9 talent were contacted for a Ripley’s Believe It Or Not promotional shoot. The Ripley exhibit collection represents over 95 years of collecting by Robert Ripley and his corporate heirs. The foundation of the over 25,000 piece collection was gathered and assembled by Ripley himself on his many travels around the world, but the staff today continues to add new pieces to the collection almost daily.
There are exhibits from the microscopic world and the worlds of science and computer technologies, artifacts that have been flown in space, including flags flown on the moon and meteorites from Mars, along with what Ripley called “Pranks Of Nature” animal oddities. Amongst Ripley’s most exotic treasures are fascinating cultural artifacts acquired in the primitive outposts of civilization, rare objects like decorated cannibal skulls and shrunken heads.
The client was specifically looking for full families to shoot both photo and video material having fun together at Ripley’s Believe It Or Not!
Lifetime’s critically-acclaimed hit series “Devious Maids” (#DeviousMaids, #DeviousArmy), returns for a third season on a new night, Mondays at 9PM ET/PT, beginning June 1st leading into the series premiere of “UnREAL” at 10PM ET/PT. Executive produced by Marc Cherry and Eva Longoria, Devious Maids follows five maids with ambition and dreams of their own while working for the rich and famous in Beverly Hills.
“Devious Maids” is set in a world where murder and mayhem collide in the mansions of Beverly Hills’ wealthiest and most powerful families. Class warfare has never been as fun and dirty as it is in the tony enclave where the staff is as clever, witty and downright as devilish as their employers. The series has centered on a close-knit group of maids, Marisol (Ana Ortiz), Rosie (Dania Ramirez), Carmen (Roselyn Sanchez), Valentina (Edy Ganem) and Zoila (Judy Reyes), who are bonded together by their jobs, life struggles and the melodramatic universe that engulfs their employers.
